Subtext to Deliver 1,193 Beds Near Texas A&M Campus

Subtext and Larson Capital Management, along with lender QuadReal Property Group broke ground on  VERVE College Station, a student housing development located at 311 Stasney Street, just steps from the Texas A&M University campus. It’s Subtext’s second development in Texass.  

Once complete, the 21-story, 824,057-square-foot property will deliver 1,193 beds across 392 units and include 930 parking spaces. Layouts range from studios to five-bedroom apartments. 

Indoor spaces include open and private study areas for both focus and collaboration, a fitness center with cardio, weights, a yoga studio and a wellness suite with sauna and meditation rooms. Social amenities include a screening and game lounge with a multi-sport simulator, an indoor/outdoor bar and kitchen, and a fully integrated lobby coffee shop and mini-market designed to serve as a community anchor blending daily convenience with an activated, welcoming ground-floor experience. Outdoor spaces offer a pool and spa, complete with poolside cabanas and a jumbotron TV, grilling stations, fire pits, lounges with yard games. 

VERVE College Station is expected to be completed in Summer 2028. Hoar Construction is the general contractor of VERVE.
