Veolia Relocates Boston Headquarters, Expands in Massachusetts

Environmental services company Veolia has relocated its North American headquarters to BXP’s 100 Federal St. in Boston’s Financial District. The French company also announced that it is growing its business in Massachusetts by acquiring New England Disposal Technologies and New England MedWaste.

Veolia signed a seven-year lease with BXP last fall to relocate its offices from 53 State St. The new space is about one-third smaller at 18,000 square feet, the Boston Globe reported at the time. The company relocated its U.S. offices from Chicago in 2016.

The $350-million investment in two Massachusetts companies expands Veolia’s ability to serve the Bay State’s healthcare and life science industries, reported the Boston Business Journal. The acquisitions occur two months after the company forged a partnership with the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council to provide members with the ability to reduce waste, support energy savings and decarbonize facilities
