Venture One Acquires Development Site in Sale-Leaseback Transaction

Venture One Real Estate has completed the acquisition of a future development property located at 2201 Landmeier Road in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

The transaction was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield, with Keith Puritz, Eric Fischer, and Brett Kroner representing the seller. The 124,226-square-foot building was acquired through a short-term sale-leaseback transaction, with plans for future redevelopment. This acquisition expands Venture One’s land holdings for future development to 1,750 acres across nine submarkets in the Chicago area.

Strategically located at the gateway to the O’Hare submarket, the property offers unparalleled connectivity, being less than two minutes from the I-90 and Elmhurst Road interchange and just three minutes from the O’Hare North Air Cargo entrance. Its prime location makes it highly suitable for distribution, air cargo, and logistics companies.
