Venture Capital Firm Signs SoHo Lease for NYC Headquarters

Midwood Investment & Development has secured a 10-year, 7,415-square-foot lease with venture capital firm TQ Ventures at 96 Spring St. in SoHo. Comprising the entire seventh floor of the building, the space will serve as TQ Ventures’ New York City headquarters as its team rapidly expands and will provide a place for TQ-backed founders to work and gather.

The new lease represents a 70% increase in office space for TQ, reflecting the firm’s growth and momentum. Gabe Marans and Maxine Rosen with Savills represented the tenant, and Brent Ozarowski and Kevin Sullivan with Newmark represented Midwood Investment & Development.

“We are excited to welcome TQ Ventures to 96 Spring St. and believe they will be a strong addition with a respected reputation in their industry to the building’s existing roster of innovative and high-end companies,” said Ron Bondy, EVP of leasing at Midwood.
