Vegan Restaurant PLANTA Queen Coming to NoMad

Toronto-based vegan restaurant brand PLANTA Queen is opening its first-ever New York City location at the Kaufman Organization’s 15 W. 27th St. in NoMad. RIPCO Real Estate managed the lease for PLANTA Queen, which will be situated in a 5,600-square-foot, bi-level space.

Formerly occupied by Pondicheri, the space includes 3,6000 square feet on the ground floor with another 2,000 square feet of selling space. RIPCO’s Lindsay Zegans and Richard Skulnik represented the tenant, while Compass’ Michael Yadgard represented the Kaufman Organization.

“We are proud to have represented PLANTA, as the international brand makes its debut in New York City,” said Zegans. “With the significant rise in plant-based dining concepts in urban cores, PLANTA is an exciting addition to the NoMad neighborhood and will certainly cater to consumer demand.”
