VanTrust’s El Paso Logistics Site Reaches Full Occupancy
The little over 500,000 square foot project is not even a year old, but all four buildings in Phase I are leased out. The 59-acre park at Mercantile Avenue and Paseo Del Este Boulevard is home to six tenants, the largest is DSV Air & Sea, who took over 142,865 square feet of space.
VanTrust’s Josh Meredith attributes the popularity of the project to its unique location, “As the world’s largest border community, the El Paso/Ciudad Juárez, Mexico region has undeniable strategic advantages for logistics companies, motivating leading organizations to move into the area and capitalize on its competitive industrial center.”
VanTrust was represented by Bill Caparis and Arturo De la Mora of CBRE El Paso. El Paso remains a vigorous market. CBRE research reports that the year-to-year market-wide vacancy rate fell by 160 basis points, now at a record low 1.5%
