VanTrust Completes 514K-SF Logistics Facility in El Paso
Commercial real estate development company VanTrust Real Estate has completed Phase I of its 59-acre speculative logistics park in East El Paso. The first phase spans 514,135 square feet across four buildings.
The developer has also secured three new leases at the facility totaling 187,000 square feet. The leases include OLA Logistics, a cargo and freight company, which leased 76,848 square feet; Interceramic Inc., a leading precision-crafted tile manufacturer, which leased 44,410 square feet and Buckland Global Trade Services, a customs and global trade logistics company, which leased 66,065 square feet.
David Hingst of PIRES International represented OLA Logistics in the lease transaction. Steve Berger and Chad McCleskey of CBRE represented Interceramic Inc. Buckland Global Trade Services was represented by Andres Sandoval of CBRE.
“These three leases are a great example of the industrial demand that El Paso, the world’s largest border community, is experiencing, acting only as the beginning of what is predicted to be a growing market in 2022,” said Josh Meredith, director of development at VanTrust. “With access to rail lines, two international airports and five international crossings, El Paso gives our Logistics Park the specialized amenities it needs to tap into this upward trend well into the future.”
