VanTrust Real Estate has launched construction on a 2.36-million-square speculative industrial project in Kansas City's Northland submarket

VanTrust Breaks Ground on 2.4M SF of Spec Industrial in KC Metro

VanTrust Real Estate, LLC recently broke ground on the Platte International Commerce Center in Platte City, MO, within the Kansas City metro area. Three Class A buildings totaling 2.36 million square feet will be available for lease, with specific spacing availability from 50,000 to 1.3 million square feet. The first speculative building is expected to be shell complete May 2024.

JLL EVP Phillip Algrim and managing director Kevin Wilkerson lead the leasing assignment for VanTrust.

“The Kansas City metro area continues to standout as one of the best locations in the U.S. for supply chain and logistics optimization,” said Algrim. “The Platte International Commerce Center is located in the Northland submarket of the Kansas City metro area adjacent to a new world class airport and transportation infrastructure. It is poised to attract a wide variety of tenants due to the new KCI terminal and the quality Northland labor pool.”
