Vantage Builders Taps Margaret Cachel as Director of Cannabis

Commercial contractor Vantage Builders has promoted Margaret Cachel to the role of Director of Cannabis. In her new role, Cachel will lead the firm’s business unit focused on the Cannabis Construction market, overseeing cannabis projects, estimating, business development and marketing efforts.

To date, Vantage Builders has had more than 25 cannabis cultivation facility and dispensary projects either completed or in process, totaling more than 600,000 square feet of space. Recently the firm broke ground on its first project in Florida, a cannabis dispensary build-out for Sanctuary Medicinals. Cachel has more than 25 years in the construction industry, with a focus in estimating, project coordination and contract management. Prior to her role as Director of Cannabis, she was Vantage Builders’ Chief Estimator.

“The cannabis market has opened tremendous opportunity for Vantage Builders and in just a few years has become one of our most critical business segments,” said Cachel. “There is an almost tangible energy in the market, with many entrepreneurs, investors and new companies, and it is very exciting to be part of it.”
