Vanbarton Group Leases 48K SF at 31 Penn Plaza

Vanbarton Group and JLL have secured leases totaling 48,000 square feet at 31 Penn Plaza in Penn District. The City of New York leased 34,000 square feet, and Compass Group expanded to 14,000 square feet. These follow a 40,431-square-foot renewal by TPG Architecture. The property recently underwent a $25 million repositioning, including a new amenity center named GREELEY.

“There has been significant momentum at 31 Penn Plaza with a host of new tenants committing to the property’s dynamic offerings,” said Young, noting that major tenants of the 445,000-square-foot building include education software company Chegg, market research firm Circana (formerly known as The NPD Group) and pharmaceutical delivery company Capsule.

Vanbarton and the exclusive JLL leasing team led by Kyle Young, Matthew Astrachan and Mitchell Konsker and Thomas Swartz have now launched a new pre-built campaign with three turnkey offices ranging from 5,000 to 14,000 square feet available for immediate occupancy.
