Cushman & Wakefield has advised Sunrise Capital, LLC in the $12 million sale of a vacant 100,000-square-foot office park on 6 acres in Oceanside, CA. The buyer is The Classical Academies, an organization of tuition-free, California Public Charter Schools in North San Diego County.
“Formerly occupied by the County of San Diego, this was a rare opportunity to acquire a campus in a private cul-de-sac, conveniently located off of Oceanside Boulevard and Interstate 5 for easy parent, student and staff accessibility,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Peter Curry who represented the seller along with Jason Kimmel and Tim Winslow. Kidder Mathews’ Jon Walters and Jim Benson represented the buyer.
The 4-building property located on Union Plaza Court, is surrounded by an abundance of single family and multifamily residences, and is within walking distance of retail, restaurant and mass transit options. The campus is also just one mile from the beach.
