VA Awards $617M Contract for El Paso Hospital
The current Veterans Administration Hospital in El Paso is 30 years old and overcrowded. Clark Construction Group was awarded the $617.5 million construction contract to build a new one.
Construction is expected to begin by late summer or early fall, with completion projected for late 2029 or early 2030.
SmithGroup, a national architectural and engineering firm based in Detroit, and HKS, a global architectural firm based in Dallas, will design the VA facility as part of Clark’s construction team.
Most of the 1,400 employees who work at the main health care center will move to the new facility,
