UT Business School to Lease Former Marathon Oil HQ
Currently the University of Texas Austin McCombs School of Business holds classes in the The School of Nursing. Most will agree, their new digs are more apropos when it comes to matriculating in a business environment. The school plans to invest $13 million over the next decade to lease the sixth floor of the onetime home of Marathon Oil Corp.’s headquarters at the gateway of CityCentre.
The program is relocating closer to its students, who will have a total of 30,000 square feet available for their use at 990 Town and Country.
The 15-story office tower, which was constructed in 2022, near not only the highways but also both the CityCentre mixed-use district and Houston-based MetroNational’s Memorial City.
This dedicated space will help the Houston MBA program better establish its own identity and reduce potential challenges for students.
The program is slated to officially relocate this fall.
