USC Student Housing Draws $39M

A six-building student-housing complex at the University of Southern California (USC), named the Shrine Collection, was recently purchased by Stuho Inc. and Cambridge Capital Investors for $39.1 million. The properties total 103 units and 324 beds.

The USC student housing property is just north of Shrine Auditorium, and also just one block north of the school’s main campus.

Cambridge Capital will undertake renovations on the Shrine Collection, which has had construction applied to the building since the 1920s.

Stuho, which will manage the property, owns and operates several USC student housing communities, totaling 1,700 beds in all, including a new mixed-use student-housing development at Hoover and Adams Avenues. The firm also owns student housing at the University of Texas, in Austin.
