USC Completes $315M Coliseum Renovation

The $315-million renovation of United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has been completed. The public stadium’s historic elements have been maintained as the famed facility approaches its second century of service.

The latest revitalization transformed the stadium into a world-class 77,500-seat facility ready to host USC and Rams football, as well as global events like the 2028 Olympics. Over a roughly 20-month construction timeline, a new seven-story Scholarship Club Tower was built on the stadium’s south side, fronted by a ribbon videoboard. It houses suites, loge boxes, club seats, a new concourse with wider lower vomitories and new concession stands, a new press box and the rooftop 1923 Club, named in honor of the year the Coliseum opened.

Other improvements include new seats with cup holders, new concessions, automated ticket scanners, 600 TV screens, an upgraded home locker room, and new technology infrastructure encompassing a complete stadium-wide WiFi system.
