US Storage Adds 6th Miami Beach Facility

Irvine, CA-based US Storage Centers completed development of a five story, 931-unit self storage facility located at 15555 West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach, FL. The 122,605-square-foot property is the sixth facility owned and operated by the company in the Miami area.

“We see tremendous demand for self storage in the Miami area, with its density, attractiveness to live and do business and diverse economy,” said US Storage Centers’ Charles Byerly. “US Storage Centers will continue to look to grow its presence in Miami and Florida through development, acquisitions and third-party management,” he added.

The site was acquired in 2015 for $1.4 million. The facility features drive-up access, climate control, passenger elevators, video monitoring, electronic gates access, boxes and moving supplies, moving carts and alarmed units.

US Storage Centers is currently developing two additional facilities in the Miami area, with completion planned for the fourth quarter 2017.
