Second Dallas Urby Tower to consist of 383 units

Urby Starts Work on Companion Dallas Residential Tower

The first distinctive structure created 383 new rental units when it was completed a little over a year ago. Its twin will consist of 364 units. The new tower has just started construction, at a cost $99 million. New Jersey-based Urby is building the 27-story high-rise on Hi Line Drive near the Stemmons Freeway.

Urby broke ground on the first building in early 2021 at a cost of $93 million. The first phase includes a swimming pool and a landscaped courtyard designed by Belgian design studio Bureau Bas Smets. The community features a fitness center, yoga studio, dog park, and European-style cafe.

Rents in the building start at around $2,200 per month for the smallest unit and top out at $3,500 for a unit just under 1,000 square feet. There is also space for a third tower on the site.

Urby was formed as a joint venture between Brookfield Properties and New York developer David Barry.
