Urban Logistics Sinks Hole in One with Former Driving Range

Urban Logistics Realty recently acquired 22 acres in Euless to build its second DFW industrial development called Urban District 183 (UD183). The development is an infill 367,000-square-foot three-building project located at the northwest corner of Pipeline Road and Industrial Boulevard on the former Cooper’s Driving Range site.

The project is slated to break ground next month. UD183 will include a 100,000-square-foot rear-load building, a 191,000-square-foot front-load building and a 75,000-square-foot side-load building.

“We found a unique opportunity with this site in the ability to convert a golf range into a state-of-the-art corporate campus. It is becoming harder and harder to find vacant land sites in DFW so we are having to get creative,” says Jason Nunley at Urban Logistics. “UD183 will provide a much-needed option as infill locations are seeing an unprecedented demand in the Dallas area. Its location in the middle of the metroplex within the mid-cities strategically places the development between DFW Airport, Great Southwest and Fort Worth submarkets.”

Nunley, Adam Herrin and Drew Feagin with Urban Logistics Realty will oversee the development of the project with the leasing and marketing assistance of Luke Davis, Forrest Cook and Charles Brewer with Stream Realty Partners.

“UD183’s urban-infill location will be a welcomed addition to the ever-growing demand for class-A industrial space among tenants,” says Davis. “The project provides great access to nearby amenities, skilled labor force and highway infrastructure, and the three-building design of this project provides numerous configurations for a variety of tenants.”
