Urban Innovations Negotiates 25 Leases in River North Office Buildings

Urban Innovations is pleased to announce that the firm has signed 25 leases in the first half of 2024, totaling over 60,000 square feet. The tenants represent a variety of industries, signaling that many companies continue to seek well-designed office spaces with modern amenities in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Aaron Zaretsky of Urban Innovations represented ownership on these transactions.

“We’re pleased with the pace of leasing activity we’ve seen and the continued growth and vibrance of the River North neighborhood,”  said Zaretsky. “At a time where some owners have issues with being able to finance deals and maintain buildings similarly to the way they did prior to 2020, UI is poised to continue its level of investment into spaces, common areas, and building operations.”

Leases in 2024 include interior design firm Zach Hayes Design, LLC, signing a lease at 440 N. Wells. The tenant was represented by Phil Palmer of Newmark Midwest. Rockitcoin, LLC, a provider of cryptocurrency and bitcoin ATM services, signed a renewal at 325 W. Huron. Katie Szpryka of Savills represented the tenant. Logistics firm Alpha 3 Logistics, Inc. relocated its offices to 212 W. Superior. The tenant was represented by Dan Persa of CBRE. Chicago Candy Company Inc., a new confectioner, signed a lease at 440 N. Wells, with representation from Phil Geiger and Rachael Ryan of Stream Realty Partners.
