Urban Innovations Earns Well Health-Safety Rating for 12-Building Portfolio

Urban Innovations has earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating for its entire one-million-plus-square-foot commercial portfolio through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The 12 buildings awarded the achievement include: 212 W Superior, 222 W Hubbard, 300 W Adams, 445 N Wells, 300 W Hubbard, 306 W Erie, 314 W Superior, 325 W Huron, 372 W Ontario, 440 N Wells, and 444 N Wells in Chicago; as well as HUB640 in Milwaukee.

The IWBI’s WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and in the future.

“This milestone signifies our efforts to prepare our buildings for re-entry, and most importantly reaffirms that our tenants can return to our buildings with confidence,” said Jo Anne Gottfried, President of Urban Innovations.
