Urban Catalyst Set for 3 Downtown San Jose Development Projects

San Jose, CA-based opportunity zone investor Urban Catalyst is moving forward with three qualifying developments set to bring new mixed-use projects to key sites in downtown San Jose. The projects moving forward through the planning and entitlement phases currently include:

491 W. San Carlos St., San Jose, CA: The future site of a 170-room Marriott TownePlace Suites (pictured).

201 S. 2nd Street, San Jose, CA: Currently a vacant building, the “Paseo” property is slated to be transformed into a combination of 65,000 square feet of office space encompassing three floors and more than 20,000 square feet of ground floor retail.

147 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose, CA: A proposed tower project expected to include 20-stories of residential with 300+ units and 4 stories of office space encompassing 120,000 square feet, along with four stories of parking. Possible amenities include a flexible community space for residents.
