Upgrades Launched on Disney Grand Californian
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is undergoing a complete hotel-wide refurbishment, including guest rooms, lobby, pool areas and concierge-level Craftsman Club. It is the most extensive refurbishment since the 948-room Anaheim, CA hotel opened in 2001.
The multi-phase roll-out is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. Guests will begin to notice the first phase of contemporary guest rooms starting this spring at the AAA Four Diamond property, located at the Disneyland Resort.
“Our renovation adds more luxury to this iconic Southern California hotel, while staying committed to its signature Arts & Crafts design,” said Disney’s Dan Coleman.
Room updates include new bedding and linens, new bathroom fixtures, new oak furniture and headboards with wood inlays. Natural stonework and hardscaping are being added to pool areas, while hardwood floors, custom rugs and artwork are being added to the Craftsman Club lounge.
