University Partners Acquires 494-Bed Student Housing Property Near Clemson

University Partners has acquired Grandmarc, a 494-unit student housing property in South Carolina. The community is nearby Clemson University and was built in 2017. Ryan Lang, Jack Brett and Ben Harkrider of Newmark brokered the transaction on behalf of the undisclosed seller.

The unit mix at the property includes two- and four-bedroom units. Amenities include a resort-style pool and hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center, clubhouse and a sand volleyball court. Additionally, the project includes 9,000 square feet of retail space.

“Grandmarc is an excellent addition to our growing portfolio and fits well within our strategy of acquiring well-located, high-quality assets in strong markets,” said Troy Manson, principal at University Partners.

The sales price was not disclosed.
