University Hills Developer Eyeing Expansive Mixed-Use Project
The Skyline Ranch owner is closing in on a development that would allow him to build a mixed-use project near the University of North Dallas. Robert Pitre hopes to move forward on a 65-acre development that would feature apartments, condominiums, and retail space. The earliest the project could appear before the Dallas City Council for final approval is during its May 28 meeting.
The Dallas Business Journal reports that the first phase of construction will focus on developing the infrastructure needed for the project. Once it’s completed, University Hills will feature 1.5 million square feet of commercial space, thousands of residential units and over 50 acres of green space. The firm also plans to build a hotel, build-to-suit office developments and a stadium on the property.
