Unispace Launches “Groundbreakers” Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Podcast

Boston, MA-based design and construction firm Unispace has launched “Groundbreakers,” a podcast devoted to how diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives transform and impact people and their environments.

“Groundbreakers” will explore how trailblazers across industries, global locations and professions are approaching DEIB. The podcast aims to challenge the way listeners think about the intersection of DEIB and work and provide insight and inspiration they can apply in their own organizations.

“Groundbreakers” is hosted by Unispace’s chief diversity officer, Chely Wright, an LGBTQI+ advocate who helps global organizations create inclusive environments.

“Inclusion isn’t just about everyone getting a seat at the table — it’s about making sure everyone gets the mic,” said Wright. “This podcast was created to highlight how DEIB can inspire the physical breaking of ground and creation of space, as well as how the pioneers and the people holding that space can inspire change, push the boundaries and blaze new paths forward.”

The “Groundbreakers” trailer and “Meet Chely” teaser are available now on your favorite listening platforms. New episodes will post every two weeks.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
