A Union Square building is getting a major redevelopment, including a possible rooftop restaurant. Axis Development Group recently purchased the asset and plans a major overhaul.

The company plans to team with Colliers International and WZ Architects on the venture. The building is on the corner of Geary and Mason streets and is home to International House of Wine & Spirits, Lori’s Diner and Sushi Boat.

The building has a vacant second floor that the new owners are looking to revamp.
