Unicorp Adding Orlando Apartments, Hotels

Unicorp National Developments will soon be breaking ground on three Orange County apartment complexes. The communities will be valued at $475 million. The Orlando Business Journal reports the projects will preceed a number of hotel and retail developments on the calendar for 2026.

The apartment complex projects scheduled to break ground are:

  • The Sutton Grande will have 200 units with a value of $200 million.
  • The Luxe at Dr. Phillips will also consist of 200 units and will be valued at $150 million.
  • At Selene Lake Nona, more than 300 units are planned for the $125 million project north of State Road 528 along Narcoossee Road.

Securing financing is standing in the way of Unicorp’s 220-room Tao Hotel at O-Town West project, which aims to break ground in the second quarter of the year. The company has several hotels in the pipeline, including a 700-room InterContinental Hotel in Orlando (photo).

Unicorp remains in discussion with construction loan lenders Centennial Bank and Key Bank, among others, for funding.
