Under-Construction Business Park . . . From Shipping Containers

Box Office Warehouse Suites, an under-construction office park in Haslet, TX, is being built from shipping containers. The project at 1953 Golden Heights Rd. in this Fort Worth suburb is the brainchild of real estate developer Ron Sturgeon. The project, which is part of a 250,000-square-foot business park, is on track to open by the end of 2017.

Sturgeon’s company, RDS Real Estate, has already begun to lease the colorful, HVAC-modified, weather-resistant, corten steel containers, which can also be customized for tenants’ needs. Monthly rents start at $875, with available space ranging from 320 square feet-1,600 square feet. Salon & Spa Galleria and Happy Bank ATM center are among the tenants who have signed on.

“Your space can grow as your business grows,” RDS’ Jim Eaton told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
