ULI NNJ Will Explore Intersection of Food Sourcing and Real Estate

The historic 90 Acres Farm in Peapack-Gladstone, NJ will be the setting for the Urban Land Institute Northern New Jersey chapter’s “Cultivating Development: Sowing the Seeds for Innovation,” focusing on the intersection of food and real estate. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

“Growing interest in and awareness of the production and sourcing of fresh, local food is spawning innovation and new direction in the real estate development arena,” said Brian Whitmer, ULI NNJ district chairperson and member of Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford, NJ investment sales team. “This event has been developed to appeal to developers, investors, food entrepreneurs and advocates, and other real estate professionals.”

Presentations will provide insight from the local farming community, as well as food entrepreneurs and others on the newest technologies, trends and incentives being employed by the public and private sectors.
