UCSF Leases Nearly 300K SF at Kilroy’s Oyster Point Phase 2

Kilroy Realty Corporation has secured 300,000 square feet of additional lease executions at Kilroy Oyster Point Phase 2, the company’s purpose-built life science campus in South San Francisco. Combined with 84,000 square feet of previously announced lease executions, leasing at the project now totals 384,000 square feet, representing a leased rate of approximately 44%.

The University of California, San Francisco, one of the nation’s leading health sciences institutions, signed a full-building,16.5-year lease during the fourth quarter for approximately 280,000 square feet, with occupancy expected in Q4 2027. In addition, Kilroy also executed a 20,000-square-foot lease at KOP 2 with a new genomic sequencing foundry.

“We are excited to welcome these two innovative life science tenants to Kilroy Oyster Point,” said Angela Aman, CEO of Kilroy Realty. “These commitments contributed to a robust year of leasing activity at the campus in 2025 and underscore improving sentiment in the life science sector and growing demand for world-class environments that can effectively support innovation and growth.”
