U.S. Concrete Acquires Golden Spread Redi-Mix Assets

U.S. Concrete Inc., headquartered in Euless, TX, acquired the assets of Amarillo, TX-based Golden Spread Redi-Mix Inc. The acquisition includes 10 fixed ready mixed concrete plants, and a portable ready-mix division that consists of five plants. Also part of the buy was a production facility close to the Amarillo market.

U.S. Concrete is a supplier of ready-mixed concrete and aggregate products in construction markets across the country. The company has 177 standard, ready-mixed concrete plans, as well as 17 volumetric ready-mixed concrete facilities in several U.S. major markets.

William J. Sandbrook with U.S. Concrete indicated that the acquisition provides his company with an entry into a new Texas market. Furthermore, “The Texas Panhandle is a growing and vibrant area with a diverse corporate landscape which will strengthen our West Texas operations,” he added.
