U. of Texas Will Open Campus Along Club Row
APF Properties is bringing a little bit of Texas to Midtown—specifically, 15,212 square feet of Texas. The University of Texas (UT) leased the entire 15th floor of APF’s Club Row Building at 28 W. 44th St., where the university will house alumni relations space, meeting rooms and classrooms.
“We were excited to work with the University of Texas to bring to life this Texan-inspired home for their students in the heart of Manhattan,” said APF’s Kenneth Aschendorf. “CUNY already has a large presence in our building, and our location on ‘Club Row,’ home to the Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, Penn, and Columbia university clubs, made us the obvious choice for UT.”
NKF’s Andrew Sachs, Tim Gibson, Josh Gosin and Matthew Augarten represented APF. UT was advised by Cushman & Wakefield’s Justin Halpern and John Harris.
