Tyson Foods Will Relocate 1,000 Corporate Jobs from Chicago Area, South Dakota

Tyson Foods on Wednesday announced plans to relocate its corporate team members from the Chicago, Downers Grove, IL and Dakota Dunes, SD corporate locations to its world headquarters in Springdale, AR. Between the offices in Chicago’s West Loop, the Downers Grove innovation center and the Dakota Dunes operations, the move will mean the relocation of about 1,000 jobs, according to Crain’s Chicago Business.

“Bringing our talented corporate team members and businesses together under one roof unlocks greater opportunities to share perspectives and ideas, while also enabling us to act quickly to solve problems and provide the innovative products solutions that our customers deserve and value,” said Donnie King, president & CEO, Tyson Foods.

The phased relocation is expected to begin in early 2023. The food company also said it plans to expand its world headquarters, with the expansion including indoor and outdoor spaces designed to foster collaboration, connection and creativity.
