Tyler Home Sales: Prices Up, Sales Down

The median single-family home price in Tyler, TX rose to $173,450 for the month of September, an increase of 8.4% over August. The Greater Tyler Association of Realtors also noted that the sale of existing single-family homes decreased 15.4%. A total of 376 houses were sold in August and September. GTAR also noted that the median price increased year-over-year by 11.9%, while sales fell off 2.8%.

Interestingly enough, condos in the city fared somewhat better, with prices increasing by 14.2% month over month, and sales increasing 133.3% during the same time period. Seven units were sold from August to September.
