TXRE Sells One Mockingbird Plaza in Dallas

Newmark represented the seller, TXRE. The 156,000 square foot building is situated on 6.7 acres of land in the Dallas’ Medical/Love Field District. Newmark’s Chris Murphy assesses its attractiveness, “One Mockingbird Plaza’s appeal is driven by its recently completed renovations, strong in-place cash flow and location within Dallas’ premier emerging marketplace and developing life science cluster.”

The building is 94% leased. Nearby, are seven hospitals and teaching institutions, including the University of Texas Southwestern campus, a high ranking academic medical center, Parkland Memorial and Children’s Health, a pediatric health care system in North Texas.

The renovations included an updated lobby, conference facility and fitness center. There is an adjacent three-level parking garage. The sales price and the buyer were not disclosed.
