Two Women’s Apparel Retailers Ink Leases at RFR’s 980 Madison Ave.

Retail leasing and advisory firm MONA has arranged two leases at RFR’s 980 Madison Ave. Women’s apparel brand Tanya Taylor will open its first physical retail location at the Upper East Side property, while women’s contemporary retailer Veronia Beard is expanding its flagship space there. 

As part of the deal, Tanya Taylor will occupy 1,501 square feet of ground-floor space and 1,337 square feet on the  lower level, in a space previously occupied by Douglas Elliman Real Estate. 

A team of MONA brokers including Brandon L. Singer, Michael Cody, Max Kreinces and Suzanne Bernstock represented RFR in the deal. Tanya Taylor was represented by Newmark’s Karen Bellantoni and Jackie Totolo. 

Veronica Beard’s long-term lease will see it expand by 1,237 square feet on the ground floor and 814 square feet on the lower level. The space was formerly occupied by Sandro. Singer, Cody, Kreinces and Bernstock again represented ownership.
