Two Trees Closes on Future Site of Williamsburg Riverfront MXU

Two Trees Management closed on its acquisition of an assemblage on the North Williamsburg riverfront, where the developer plans a mixed-use development, including two towers and a beach. A JLL Capital Markets team represented Con Edison in the $150-million sale.

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and landscape architecture firm James Corner Field Operations recently unveiled the River Street Waterfront Master Plan on Two Trees’ behalf. The plan “seeks to enhance connectivity of the public waterfront, restore natural habitats, elevate the standard for urban waterfront resiliency and transform the way New Yorkers interact with the East River,” according to BIG.

JLL’s Brendan Maddigan, Stephen Palmese, Michael Mazzara, Ethan Stanton and Winfield Clifford arranged the sale.

“This unique waterfront site offers a rare opportunity in one of New York City’s most in-demand neighborhoods,” said Maddigan. Palmese added, “With 3.2 acres of land on Williamsburg’s waterfront, River Street Assemblage’s potential is endless.”
