Two-Property Portfolio Lists in West Town

Essex Realty Group is marketing two multifamily properties located within two blocks of each other in the West Side’s West Town neighborhood. The two properties, 858 N. Wood St. and 1856 W. Chicago Ave., are being offered for sale at a combined price of $5 million or may be acquired individually.

858 N. Wood is a 10-unit on the corner of Wood and Iowa streets. Just southwest of this property is the 14-unit 1856 W. Chicago Ave.

The portfolio is listed for sale by Essex principal Jordan Gottlieb and director Jordan Multack.“West Town is one of Chicago’s fastest growing submarkets and these two properties offer a chance for immediate scale in a neighborhood where density is hard to come by,” Multack said.
