
Two Phoenix-Area Hotels Sell For a Combined $35.75M
A 99-room Hampton Inn hotel asset in Phoenix and a 127-room Hyatt Place hotel in neighboring Gilbert have sold for to different owners. The Hampton Inn property, located at 160 W Catalina Dr, was purchased by locally-based Mango Tree LLC for $16.25 million or $164,000 a room.
The Hampton Inn benefits from being located directly amidst several internationally notable healthcare facilities. The location is also walkable to the Metro Light Rail Station, located in Park Central Mall, and proximate to numerous employers in the Midtown area. Mango Tree LLC plans to make significant renovations to the Midtown Phoenix property.
The Hyatt Place was picked by HWC Hospitality for $19.5 million or $153,000 a room. Sethi Management was the seller. The Hyatt Place is located along Freeway 202 near Pecos Rd with convenient freeway access and high visibility. A Cushman & Wakefield team brokered both deals.
