Two NYC Towers Land Large Tenants
Large leases were signed at two of Manhattan’s newer, high-profile office towers. Schroders Investment Management North America is relocating its New York headquarters to 73,796 square feet at 7 Bryant Park. Meanwhile, Hudson River Trading took down 69,000 square feet at 4 World Trade Center.
Schroders, currently at 875 Third Ave., will move to its new digs in 2017. It will take the 17th through 21st floors, and part of the 16th floor, under a 15-year lease. Though terms were not disclosed, area reports indicate the ask would be above $100 per square foot.
In the second lease, financial-tech pioneer Hudson River Trading will take the 57th and 58th floors in 2017. The deal comes with a 5,000-square-foot outdoor terrace on a 57th floor setback.
