The recently opened The Element by Westin has linked up the AC Marriott as basically conjoined hotels along San Antonio’s River Walk. The Winston Hotels development encompasses nearly 300,000 square feet and boasts views of San Antonio’s historic architecture and skyline. The project’s total investment is worth over $100 million, and it will help revitalize downtown San Antonio. The Element was converted from office space.

The Element will feature 162 rooms, with fully-equipped kitchens including a fridge, microwave, and a stove top. Guests can choose from a variety of room options which are easily accommodating for both long-term and short-term stay guests.

Both AC and Element will share amenities including an 1,800 sq ft state-of-the-art fitness center, a business center perfectly suited for remote work, 4,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, and access to 1Watson, the upscale rooftop bar and lounge (picture). The AC Marriott opened in October of 2022.
