Two Kane County Industrial Transactions Brokered by Lee & Associates

Lee & Associates has closed a pair of industrial transactions in Kane County, Illinois. Michael Androwich, Principal at Lee & Associates’ Illinois office, represented the tenant, Cynamic Chemical Company, on a lease renewal of 20,124 square feet at 1400 Kingsland Drive in Batavia. The building is owned by Mapletree. Cynamic is a private-label chemical manufacturer.

Jay Farnam, Principal at Lee & Associates of Illinois, represented buyer Elgiloy Specialty Metals on their purchase of a 16,740-square-foot building at 1525 Fleetwood Drive in Elgin. ESM is a manufacturer of standard and custom specialty metals for aerospace, chemical processing, oil and gas, medical, defense, and nuclear applications.

“North Kane County continues to become an attractive location for industrial companies to relocate and expand,” Farnam said. “I was happy to assist my client in increasing their production capacity in close proximity to their current facility.  Manufacturing continues to grow in Metro Chicago as the talented labor force leads the way.”
