Hyatt Place Talking Stick

Two Hyatt Hotels Planned at Scottsdale-Area Indian Community

A Hyatt Place and a Hyatt Studios are slated to be built on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian land near Scottsdale along Loop 101.

A groundbreaking was recently held for the Arizona Boardwalk Hyatt Place at Talking Stick (shown), a four-story, 142-room hotel that will be constructed adjacent to Arizona Boardwalk, the entertainment center home to a variety of attractions, including OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, Museum of Illusions and the Boardwalk Big Wheel. The Arizona Boardwalk Hyatt Place at Talking Stick will feature a lobby bar and lounge, breakfast and dining area, meeting space, fitness center and outdoor pool.

The Hyatt Place project was designed by Deutsch Architecture Group and is being built by Layton Construction. It is projected to open in late 2027.

Just south of the Arizona Boardwalk project, another Hyatt property, a Hyatt Studios hotel, has been proposed. It would be a four-story, 122-room extended stay hotel. The Hyatt Studios project is being proposed by CaliberCos Inc.
