Two More Central Markets to Open in Dallas

H-E-B Grocery Co. L.P. announced it would open two more Central Markets in the Dallas area. The San Antonio-headquartered company said it would open the specialty grocery stores at 4349 W. Northwest Hwy. (near Midway Road),  and at 3524 McKinney Ave., at Lemmon Avenue.

Both stores were part of six Sun Fresh Market stores H-E-B acquired from RLS Supermarkets in August. The company indicated that the 42,000-square-foot store on W. Northwest Highway would be gutted and open for business in fall, 2017, but did not disclose the status of the McKinney Ave. location. Meanwhile, H-E-B will sell or lease the remaining four locations.

H-E-B owns approximately 20 land parcels in North Texas.
