TwinkleStar Asset Sells Fort Worth Multifamily Properties

Orion Properties acquired Villas Del Sol and Wedgewood, two Class B apartment complexes totaling 104 units and 118 units, respectively. Both assets are in the same Fort Worth neighborhood, one-half mile apart from the other. TwinkleStar Asset sold the Class B properties for an undisclosed price. Al Silva and Dan Mullen with Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction.

Villas Del Sol at 6100 Westcreek and Wedgewood at 2819 Walton Ave. attracted 13 offers during a five-week marketing period. While potential buyers bid on the properties on an individual basis or as a package, the seller ultimately chose to sell them as a package.

The new owner plans to change the properties’ management and implement a capital improvement program to boost curb appeal and make units more appealing to area renters.
