Twining Properties Wins Site Approval for Mixed-Use on New Rochelle Waterfront

Twining Properties has obtained full site plan approval from the City of New Rochelle’s Planning Board for the development of Pratt Landing. The project will transform a nearly 11.5-acre industrial waterfront site formerly home to the Department of Public Work, the Historical Naval Armory and a concrete batching plant on New Rochelle’s northeastern shore to create four new city blocks and waterfront park.

Spanning nearly 850,000 square feet, the project will consist of a mix of apartments, a hotel, the restored Armory building, shops and restaurants. The approval, which concludes the entitlement phase of the project, clears the way for pre-construction demolition, environmental and other site work to begin.

Pratt Landing will include 383 rental apartments, 99 condominium apartments, a 150-key, and more than 40,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, supported by 845 parking spaces and multiple recreational spaces, along with a revitalized historic New Rochelle Naval Armory building that will serve as an event venue.
