TWG has started construction on The Tracks residential community in Birmingham, AL.

TWG to Provide Two Units Free to Students at In-Progress Birmingham Multifamily

Indianapolis, IN-based TWG has begun construction on a $61-million multifamily project in Birmingham, AL.

The Tracks is TWG’s first development in the state; two units at the property will be provided free of charge to local students in partnership with the Department of Innovation and Economic Opportunity, City of Birmingham and Jefferson County.

The five-story, 273-unit market rate project sits on nearly five acres on 1st Avenue South with a pathway connector to the Rotary Trail, a popular walking and biking trail in downtown Birmingham. The property will fill a gap in the First Avenue South corridor and add to several new multifamily and mixed-use developments along Rotary Trail.

Amenities at The Tracks include a pool deck, fire pits, grilling station, community lounge, gym, indoor bicycle storage and 1 gig internet speeds.

The Tracks is made possible with the support of lender FirstBank and Birmingham designer Fifth Dimension Architecture & Interiors.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
