Turnaround for 162K-SF Highpoint

A year ago, nearly two-thirds of the office space was vacant at Highpoint Corporate Center in Fairfield, NJ. Now, following a careful renovation and marketing campaign, the 162,000-square-foot complex at 695 Route 46 is 60% occupied, up from 38% just 12 months ago.

“Our client set out to position Highpoint Corporate Center as the Fairfield submarket’s best-in-class address, offering attractive accommodations and the lifestyle amenities today’s tenants want,” said Rich Mirliss, executive managing director for Colliers International Group Inc., which became the exclusive leasing agent for Highpoint a year ago.

The ownership renovated the property’s four-story atrium lobby and common areas, and introduced new amenities including a fitness center with locker rooms and showers, cafeteria and conference center.
