Tucson Office-to-Hotel Taking Guests

When it was built in the 80’s, it was Tucson’s towering office building, housing Tucson’s top companies. But like a number of downtown office buildings, its occupancy rates dropped and the owners started looking for other options. One of those options was converting the 23-story building into a combination of hotel space (nine floors) retail and restaurant (bottom) and office space (13 floors).

The Leo Kent, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is accepting guests inside the iconic One South Church building. It’s part of the Marriott Bonvoy hotel family.

The 145-room property includes amenities such as a fitness center, function hall, meeting spaces, and The St. Cruz restaurant – a casual dining outlet that offers to-go options, with an elevated bar and lounge.

The Leo Kent is located at 1 South Church Ave. Rates start as low as $185 per night.
