Tucker Grows Tenant Roster in the Fulton Market

Already home to Lululemon and Bluemercury, Tucker Development’s 10-building 900 West in the Fulton Market District will add three more tenants to its retail roster. Tucker will bring in Kinton Ramen, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and upscale menswear boutique Independence later this year, Crain’s Chicago Business reported.

Independence, owned by Oak Street Bootmakers founder George Vlagos, first opened in 2012 in the GoldCoast and now will move to a 1,000-square-foot space at 920 W. Randolph.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will take 3,300 square feet on two levels of 908 W. Randolph for its sixth local location. And the 2,500-square-foot space at 165 N. Sangamon will be one of the first U.S. locations for Toronto-based Kington Ramen.

“Our ability to attract these local, national and even international brands is a testament to the dynamism of Fulton Market,” CIO Aaron Tucker told Crain’s. Tucker Development acquired the 900 West Properties in 2015.
